Dairy Crest investment

Dairy Crest has announced plans to invest £5m in its dairy at Chadwell Heath, east London.

In a statement, the company said: “The site is going from strength to strength and this has been reflected in our recent announcement that we have retained our major contract to supply milk to Sainsbury’s through to 2017.”

The money will be used to update and improve facilities on the site in a bid to make it more efficient.
