Berkshire farmer Colin Rayner has built a 7ft high metal barricade to keep out joyriders.
Mr Rayner who has been plagued by crime on his farm says the measures have cost him thousands of pounds but with no solution forthcoming from the police, he feels he has no other option.
To strengthen his defences he is planning to buy some of the fencing used in the 2012 London Olympics once it has been taken down.
