I realise that Monday can be slow and a tiny bit pointless sometimes but this seems to take the biscuit for needlessness.
Google Earth has revealed a shot of the Atlantic sea that is absolutely empty (and as you can see very blue). Apparently there is a small cloud and a shadow from that cloud but apart from that it is blue. It’s just very blue (sense the desperation in my tone there!!!)
Meanwhile, people in the office have just returned from their respective holidays, either tanned or full of tales of their eddy the eagle like ski ability. Mr Arable Reporter was especially proud to have had two wipe-outs yet still able to walk in this morning (or just about)

I think it is rather comforting to be able to see a large patch of blue sea somewhere in the world, with all the global warming, shrinking glaciers, choked city streets and millions of hectares of degraded land, it makes you feel a little better to know that somewhere on the earth's surface the sea is still blue!
