I was interested in your comment that Peter Kendall's positive, modern and aggressive attitude suits some but not all members. I wonder what you think would. Also as a present council member I find his leadership very positive, up-beat and dynamic but not aggressive.

Thanks for your comment, Julia. I did suggest in the FW article to which you refer that because of the enormous differences between farmers the task of the NFU is virtually impossible. I also said I thought Peter Kendall was doing a good job for a section of the industry. But as you must know life is still very difficult for some and I feel they are in danger of being left behind as the union persues its policy of being positive on all things. A bit more recognition of their situation might encourage them and let them know they are not forgotten - even if it sounds like whingeing. Too much of a generalisation, I know but you get my drift.
Regarding Peter's aggressive attitude - I interpret that as assertive and bold. Thats good isn't it?
Incidentally it might be best if we continued this discussion on the platform FWI created for me the URL for which appears above. This one is supposed to be for staff, not amateurs like me.
