It's been a busy week for 13-year-old Felicity:
Last week my family and I visited the Royal Show. The food is great and it's good to see all the different animals.
We've ordered some more big chicken houses for some of our chickens. Dad has a 4X4 but we still got stuck in the mud in the car park because of the horrendous wet weather.
Back at the farm, the weather has damaged some of the crops so my father and I went to have a look at the fields. Due to the weather we have also lost a sheep.
The donkeys are also feeling the strain of the bad weather, we have had to put them in the stable a lot. They want to be outside!
The geese however, love the rain and love to find puddles to paddle in. Me and my sister like it too – sometimes we put on our wellies and go and splash around in the stream near to our house.
On Friday I broke up from school, hopefully the sun will come out again soon ready for harvest.
On Saturday I found one of our lambs, Ben, caught in the gate. Ben is unfortunately blind. We have two lambs which were born blind, Ben and Lopsy.
They were both abandoned by their mothers and so we adopted them, bottle fed them and have cared for them over since. They are very happy lambs. We have since put a board on the gate to stop Ben doing it again.
The newest member of the farm this week is a horse named Blue.
He is a giant - I can't even stand up to his head without being on my tiptoes, he is 16.5 hands - that is about 1.56 metres. My sister went riding on him and after that we groomed him.
