So. As if the potato data from the other day wasn't boring enough, now I'm going to test your tolerance even more with an entry of statistics about this blog.
Last month this blog received
1,666 Pageviews

What do you mean "That's totally pathetic"? This might not sound very impressive to you but to put it a another way
it means that this blog is being read by more than 0.0025% of the population. That's right, look impressed, 0.0025%. So "Ner" to you.
This is fantastic news for you. It means that if you are walking down the street in a strange town and start talking to a total stranger about this blog, then the chances of them being a fellow reader are a mere one in half a million. With odds this good why bother with the National Lottery. Now another incredible fact is that Tim Relf's Field day blog has four times more readers than this one. WHAT? Clearly this blog just isn't whimsical enough. Four Times, I tell you. I appreciate that this blog doesn't have much to offer your average cat lover but really. FOUR. TIMES. If you ever see a photo of a waterskiing mole on this page you will know that I have finally sold out.

C'mon Matthew, you can do it! Try a bit of link bait in your headlines. That'll get the search engines humming. Why title a post "Blog Stats" when you can write, "My blog stats have plunged farther than Charlotte Church's cleavage." While your perv readership might increase you can take solace in the fact you've taught them a thing or two about spuds.
Also, keep your eye out for potatoes that resemble religious icons. That's a winner every time.
Relf's edge might be in dead squirrel reportage.
Excellent suggestion, Steve. Watch this space
Hi Matthew,
I have a photograph of a waterskiing mole - I wonder if you'd be interested in having it for your blog?
Tim
Yes please, Tim. But only if it is wearing a hat and sunglasses
1000 page views!!! Andrew Blake would almost be willing to kill for that many people looking at his arable barometer farmer blog - over the hedge (http://www.fwi.co.uk/Community/blogs/arablebarometer/default.aspx)
Nice link, Mike. I am beginning to understand cross promotion
Mention Shaun the Sheep and you are guaranteed a spike in traffic...
