More vegetable art, anyone?
Sorry that this is a bit self-indulgent, there's not too much going on on the farm to write about.
My sister studied History of Art and so I assimilated a bit of her knowledge. I always needed to know just enough about the subject to be infuriating to her (all in a day's work for an older brother). "Is it true that Van Cough cut off his nose?" That sort of thing.
Anyway. You should recognise the picture as the Scream by Norwegian artist, Edvard Munch. The character in the picture may not be screaming themself but attempting to block out a "Scream of Nature." Either that or they are walking by our packhouse when the team are listening to one of their Lithuanian cds at full volume. I pull the same expression myself on occasions.

Here's one of the originals. It was drawn in 1893. Munch replicated this picture in most mediums, oil, pastel, ink. Munch's vegetable version, however, was conspicuous by its absence.

Any chance you're running out of these pictures?
I'm waiting for the 'artist' to attempt to recreate something by Seurat or one of the other pointilists. D'you reckon it'll just be a plate of peas?
