Another thought (which tells you how I have developed a nesting instinct over the holiday) has just occured to me while I was changing the bed linen.
I just became trapped inside an inside out duvet cover and spent a few minutes blundering about the bedroom like a drunken ghoul before falling over my own shoes.
I'm guessing that Casanova and James Bond both had chambermaids to do that sort of thing. Surely no one who fits their own duvet cover would aspire to anything bigger than a king-size bed.
I'll be pleased to get back to work.

I seem to remember Austin Powers having a huge, round bed. How would you find sheets for that? Would you have to use a giant shower cap for a flat sheet?
And what makes you think that I need a waterproof sheet on my bed?
