The Wormanby herd from H Hodgson, Burgh-By-Sand consigned six animals to the sale of which the top price of the day came from this exciting group, Wormanby Jurist Mandy a fresh second calver, going back to Elmcroft Matt Mandy EX91, All Britain Intermediate Cow 1988; she sold for 2800gns to Smallthwaite Farms, Smallthwaite House, Calthwaite, Penrith.

They also took the championship ticket home under judge Robert Hunter from the Letterkenny Holstein herd and Clydevalley Jerseys. The EX91 Wormanby Benson Stella sold for 2500gns to Messrs Marrs and Son, Carlisle.
