Shorthorns start with steady trade to 4000gns

Gerald Turton's first bull in to the ring Virginian of Upsall, by Trunley Soldier has started Shorthorn trade off to a good start with a bid of 4000gns to D and S Calder, Aberfeldy.

One or two have snuck through un sold, but I'd say the breed should have a good sale overall - although not sure we'll see a 32,000gns bid!!!
