Strong Perth Angus average pleases new president

An average of £4104.55 for 152 bulls sold more than satisfied the new Aberdeen Angus Cattle Saociety president John Coultrip.

Speaking to Taking Stock minutes after the sale, he said he was really pleased with how the sale went and the quality of the cattle forward. "We've had a tricky year with many breeders at cross roads in terms of bluetongue restrictions, but this sale has renewed confidence for many producers."
