A big weekend for pedigree beef sales

Taking Stock are going to be kept busy this weekend with a jam-packed schedule of pedigree livestock sales.

Judging is underway this afternoon/evening at Carlisle for the May Limousin sale and I'll get pictures up as soon as possible. I'll be ringside tomorrow to keep you up to date with live coverage of the sale - who's taking bets on what these sons of the 100,000gns bull are going to make then???

As ever I'll try and get most things up on the day - but you may have to allow a little time for picture uploading - I'm letting myself loose with a camera so who knows what could happen!!

Saturday also sees a busy sale ring at Newark Livestock Market where a pedigree and commercial suckler herd and small sheep flock will go under the hammer.

My trusty photographer tim Scrivener will then be in action at Perth on Monday for the multi breed peedigree show and sale where I will get as many pictures and results up as possible.

So keep clicking on for all the action (and hopefully a little gossip as well!).
