Limousin female champion sells for 13,000gns

Having taken the Limousin female championship at Carlisle earlier this evening, Messrs A W Owen and M W Grieves-Owen sold Unicete, a 2003-born Omer daughter out of Institutri for 13,000gns.

Having been flushed twice producing 37 embryo's she now belongs to Nigel Matthews of the Pye Brook herd.

Mr Matthews also bought Bridgeford Amber, a 2005-born Milbrook Tanko daughter out of the RUAS champion 2004 Bridgeford Saskia for 4500gns.

The reserve female champion Melbreak Clover from Mr and Mrs J Callion sold for 3200gns. By Beaghmore Uday, she is out of Ashhollow Twinkle and has a breed value of +24.

Just before she sold, Melbreak Candy, a Rocky daughter out of Sarkley Tarriane sold for 4000gns.
