Limousin store champion sells at £800

A good number of people were in attendance at Aberdeen and Northern Marts’ latest show and sale of store cattle on Wednesday.

The overall champion was Murray Rainnie, Loanhead, Logie Coldstone with a 468kg May 2007-born Limousin steer which sold to judge Colin Scott, Wester Biffie, Maud for £800.

Taking the reserve champion title was a 412kg March 2007-born Limousin heifer from Leys Farm, Leys Castle, Inverness. It was also bought by judge Colin Scott for £700.
