£700 bid sets new calf record at Carlisle

Records were smashed last Wednesday at Harrison & Hetherington's weekly sale of calves, with all calves meeting a firm trade, a Borderway Mart record was broken for a month old tremendous ¾ bred British Blue bull.  The calf was bred by A & J M Riley, Underhelm, Grasmere, and sold for £700.
