Jersey takes Royal interbreed top spot

Dairy entries may be severely reduced at this year's Royal Show but this didn't stop Emma Murray and her team of Jerseys conquering all in the interbreed class with Whiteoaks Julian Flower.

Standing a close reserve and helping to pay back some of the £1000 cost of exhibiting at the show was Andrew Whittaker's Holstein cow Knowlesmere Leduc Papoose.

Taking reserve spot in the Holstein ring was Knowlesmere Gibson Starlight, while the reserve Jersey was Fourcrosses Centurion Pride again from the Murray family.

In the Dairy Shorthorn rings, G A Madely took the top spot with Rodway Marie 62, while N Madely's Nejay Princess took reserve spot.
