Shorthorn bull adds to silverware collection

Adding to his silverware collection obtained yesterday, Mark Holmes' Shorthorn bull Cairnsmore Thrasher has taken the native interbreed competition this morning under Limousin and Charolais breeder Archie McGregor, Kilsyth. Following a close reserve here was the Aberdeen-Angus cow and calf Cragg Minneapolis Belle from Mrs Squires.

In the junior overall interbreed Millington Grange took top spot with their Limousin heifer Millington Choice, by Mas du Clo, while reserve went to the young Charolais bull Holstead Cracker from F and J Andrews.
