Drummin Veronica takes Limousin female title

Jim Goldie has just tapped out his Limousin female championship aftter some pretty tough judging. I have to say the Limousins have put on the best show of cattle so far this morning with a cracking line up of first prize females.

lim line blog.jpgTaking the top spot was John McInerney's September 2004 cow Drummin Veronica. Sired by Mas Du Clo, she is out of a homebred cow Drummin Peach.

Standing reserve to her was the second prize senior cow Milbrook Ulla from William Smith. she is by Poker out of Milbrook Petal.

Pictures to follow shortly.........

WHAT WERE BULL PRICES LIKE ANY real quality within the sale?

Miss Wales:

Females were a good trade, some real nice heifers to be had, bulls patchy trade with the best ones coming over here.

Quality of the bulls did not match the females through and through.
