Maiden heifers top trade at Holsworthy

Solid trade was seen at Holsworthy Dairy Evening, Devon with maiden heifers topping at 4500gns for Misjay Denholme Shottle Maude ET sold by Messrs Price and O'Neill, Shropshire.

 

First prize in milk cow Holmead Outside Playmate PI VG86 bred and sold by Terry Cox, Dorset topped the milk sale at 2700gns purchased by Messrs Hugo, Bodmin, Cornwall.

 

RESIZE kivells.jpgOverall champion and first prize heifer Marland Goldwyn Floss bred and sold by J L Ward and Son, Torrington realised 2600gns purchased by Graham Duke, Cornwall.

 

Reserve champion was claimed by Willsbro Poppy 2 from Wills Brothers, Wadebridge. In calf females sold to a top of 2300gns for Payhembury Zenith Line 3 ET due to Shottle sold by Messr Daymond, Honiton.

In milk cows 1916gns; in calf females 1838 gns; maiden heifers 2961 gns.
