Limousin champion shares top spot in prices at Perth

Trade for Limousin bulls in Perth topped at 5500gns twice today, the first of which was the champion Dyke Coisty from the MacGregors. by Ardbrack Taketime, he is out of Dyke Vicky.

67 Dyke Coisty.JPGThe other at that money was for W Laing's Gaiech Cockofthenorth. This one is by Loosebeare Aviator and out of Gaiech Outstanding.

87 Gaich Cockofthenorth.JPG At 4200gns Brian Allan told Glenturk Clunny, a Bridgeford Versace son out of Anside Sunny. Clunny has a beef value of +25 and a calving index of +2.

For the same money, W McLaren sold McLarens Cracker, a Confluence Romeo son out of Lumbylaw Linette with a beef value of +20.

In total 14 out of 15 bulls sold.

Any word of lim sale in south of ireland on sat?? Supposed to be some fair cows at it...

Not heard anything yet, suspect j will get a report out of them tomorrow - well that's the plan.....talk was a certain person was going to be shopping big time, but I've not heard!!

Cookstown report is up now, look's like some well bred cows were bought relatively cheaply. No idea how they looked on the day though.
