Charolais bull Lamerpark Champion exhibited by Murray Lyle has just taken the junior interbreed beef award. This one is by Weybread Archie and is by Lamerpark Ripple. Bred by D G White he was purchased privately and is junior herd sire for Mr Lyles herd.
Standing reserve was the Simmental heifer Team Misty 5 from Robert MacGregor. This homebred heifer is by Tilbrook Noble and is out of Team Misty 4.
