English win for the Shorthorns at Royal Highland

We're really pleased that Charles, Sally and Harry Horrell took an incredibly tough Beef Shorthorn championship yesterday. The Peterborough-based breeders' three year old Pode Hole Madeline Zeta has done a fair bit of winning in England already this year, so it was no suprise she won yesterday under judge Charlie Russell, Girvan, Ayrshire.

Taking reserve was Donald Biggar's Chepelton Braveheart, a junior bull born March 2008 by Chapelton Typhoon out of chapelton duchess 690.
