All set for Royal Show interbreed day

| No Comments | No TrackBacks

Well, on the morning of day three of the last ever Royal Show the scene is set for the main interbreed competitions in the beef, sheep and pig lines with all three top individual awards being decided this morning.

In the beed rings it will be Sussex-based John Giffin who has the challenge of picking the winner, while across in the sheep it will be down to John Geldard, Cumbria, to sort out the champion there. Picking the top placed pig will be the task of Ann Uglow, Devon.

The sun has been out here this morning, so hopefully the rain which dogged the first day's judging will stay away for today. And with tonight being the last night of the show its certain that whichever breeder picks up the overall awards there will be a fair old party somewhere on the showgound.
