Limousins are Royal Welsh hat-trick heros

| No Comments | No TrackBacks

The Limousins have completed a memorable hat-trick in the beef lines this morning, taking the interbreed pairs title to add to the team of five and individual awards they have already claimed this week.

The pair were Harry Emslie's cow Ballymoney Veronica and David Cormack and Gaynor MacDowell's bull Greenhill Viper.

TS RW Beef Pairs.jpgReserve to this duo were the Charolais, the breed champion, Thrunton Classic, from John Howells, and the female champion and one of my picks of the week, Trefonnen Caroline from Charlie Boden. She's by Burradon Talisman and out of Trefonnen Upopia.
