There were tears of joy in the pig rings this morning when 16 year old exhibitor Emily Paddock scooped the interbreed pig championship ahead of her more seasoned competitors. Emily's winner was her Middle White sow Lewin Dorothy. This homebred sow is by Gracebank Rajah and out of Eaves Dorothy. She is one of just two sows kept by Emily at home in Stoke on Trent.

TS Royal Pig Champ.JPGStanding reserve here was the Welsh champion from Phil Fowlie, Braemor Daffodil. This February 2005-born sow is by Braemor James and out of Burghope Daffodil 3319.
