Tomlinsons take Royal Ayrshire title

Ayrshire champion was Sandyford Clover 10 from Blaze Tomlinson, Loughborough. This highly regarded fifth calver is by K C Roses Chatter T Red and out of homebred dam Sandyford Clover 7. One of 200 Ayrshires run by the Tomlinson family, this one gave 13,600 in her fourth lactation at 4.4% butterfat and 3.6% protein and is currently giving 52 litres a day and is projected to give 14,000 litres in her fifth lactation. She was interbreed champion at last year's Royal Yorkshire Show and the South West Dairy Show.
