Females were the pick of the trade at yesterday's sale of Aberdeen-Angus at Dungannon, with trade led at 4300gns by a cow and calf outfit.

The sale topper was Woodvale Beautiful Kitty from Alwyn and Carol Armour. This Ankonian Elixir daughter is out of Woddvale Babs and sold with her Woodvale Mr Awesome sired bull calf at foot. This one is an ET bred son  of Vermillion Dateline out of Coldstream Miss Annie. The outfit sold to Trevor Wallace, Dromore.

And at 3000gns was Old Glenort Mayflower from James Porter. Mayflower sold with a Netherton Fleur's Legacy sired heifer calf at foot to Mike Frazer, Templepatrick, for his recently established herd.

Topping the bulls was a 2800gns sale for May 2008-born Cluntagh Padddy from Frank Morrison, Crossgar. This is by Liss Bonny Man and sold to Messrs Dunbar Newtonstewart.
