The calf champion from September's national show of Aberdeen-Angus, Rull Francis J092 has been sold privately for £6000.

calf champion Rull Francis.jpgThis daughter of Muirhall Top Deal from Edward and Claire Jones, Cullompton, Devon, has sold to Andrew Hodge, Duns, for his Rulesmains herd.

Francis is out of Rull Francis F065, a daughter of Netherton Frances C236 which is in turn a Netherton Royal Sovereign daughter.

Mr Hodge said he'd admired the calf's correctness and tremendous style. "She has a character you can't help be taken with and her pedigree will no doubt compliment the existing bloodlines at Rulesmains."
