How does 525 KG warrant baby beef?
are you sure your info is correct? didnt think a 15month old steer weighting that much could compete in the baby baby beef classes.
why not in ireland 525 kg could enter calf classes !!!!
very showy steer though!!!
I think there may be some confusion over the term baby beef in this case. It is not a calf class, but the award for the best lightweight beast, referred to north of the border as baby beef - not to be confused with the baby beef classes at the EWF which are the suckled calf classes.
I see the Blue society have done a deal to sell semen through the Lims semenstore, any word if any other breeds are close to doing the same?
So far as I know the Blues were the only other breed talking about joining semen store, with several other breeds keen to avoid putting cash in the Lim Society's pockets. That said the situation may have changed now.
