Acklington is regarded as having some of the best stock in the North East, Thursday 10th December is the Christmas Prime Lamb show and sale with top quality Judge Brian Glaves from Scarborough overseeing proceedings.
Watch out for John Guirie from Town Farm Glanton and also F Mellor Annstead, both should come close to taking the championship.
The quality of lambs shown at Acklinton is excellent throughout the year and culminates with the Christmas Show.
