A strong run of heifer calves from the Roberts' Hafodlas herd has met an eager trade, peaking so far at 5000gns for Hafodlas Esyllt, a Bailea Spunkie daughter out of Hafodlas Sonia.
At 3000gns was another Spunkie daughter Hafodlas Erin, out of Hafodlas Sara and at 3200gns was Hafodlas Ema, another Spunkie daughter, this time out of Hafodlas Urwen.
A couple of lots later Hafodlas Edith took a 5000gns call, She's again by Spunkie and out of Hafodlas Volly, a Saphir daughter, believed to have sold to Smiths of Bloxham ( that's 77,500gns for SOB today and counting!).
