EDITED: Apologies, the top call was actually a 5500gns sale for a Dougnahill Navahoe daughter, Milnbank 08569. She's out of a dam by Durisdeer Instructor and sold in lamb to Mossknowe Pudsey to Procters Farm.
Next best was a 4800gns call for a Douganhill Navahoe daughter out of a dam by Carighead Hercules. This one sold in lamb to Castlecairn Provost.
At 3000gns was another from the same home by Baltier Nijinsky. This one, out of a dam by Hercules again, sold in lamb to Mossknowe Pudsey to Stephen Cobbold, Suffolk.

Hi JL - just wondering what your thoughts were on Texels at Carlisle - couldn't make it so wondered on your opinion - standard hi or patchy? Is trade where it should have been?
Hi TTT, would say overall the standard both last night and today has been strong. Some good runs of sheep and as always some poorer ewes in among them, but largely good strong, well fleshed ewes.
Of the ewes last night the best value for me by far were the Douganhill shearlings, they were ewes which would suit anybody and never lose you money. Today was a strong run too, Milnbank ewes good as ever, Annan ewes really strong fleshed and the Sportsmans ewes while not selling exceptionally well, were worth a shout if you wanted bodies. Can't be here next week, but I reckon trade could really kick off then.
does any one know who bought milnbanks 4800 ewe because she is a cracing ewe in my eyes.
proctors bought milnbank gimmer
the 4800 gns one that is in the picture above
4800gns shearling sold to Boden and Davies, 5500gns top price from Milnbank sold to Procters.
