Bentham hogget show tops at £155

Last week's Bentham Super Two challenge show and sale of hoggets saw a total of 56 hoggs forward, with the championship going to Michael Fell, Clapham, with a pair off Beltex cross lambs. These tipped the scales at 40kg and sold for £155/hea (387p/kg) to Honby Butchers, Hornby, Lancaster.

Second spot went to G and SE Parker with a pair of 36kg hoggets which sold for £100 (277p/kg) and third was A Rigby with a pair which weighed 39kg each and sold for £118/head (302p/kg).
