With a hectic few days of sales ahead of the Taking Stock team, I've just been taking a few minutes to catch up on the news on the BBC website.
And, its quite amazing what you can find on the web, or in this case what you can find on the BBC.
While UK cattle breeders from three of the main breeds are fretting over their stock heading to Carlisle and Stirling, it seems their counterparts in the camel breeding world of the Middle East have been having an equally nervous and by the looks of it profitable time, take a look at the link below!
The question is which of the Davids - Tomlinson or Leggatt is going to be first on the rostrum to offer a few camels - some may say they've already sold (or at least tried to sell) their fare share!

If Taking Stock ever need anyone to head out there to blog on the show/sale, im more than willing to put my name forward!
Think you'll have to join a fairly lenghty queue Dafydd - what surprised me was the prizes on offer, one guy won four 4x4s, now if that was on offer I could have seen the Royal surviving!
Prize money of almost 10million dollars - I'm in!!!!Could see Leggat bobbing up and down on the rostrum for those! Don't think DT would need his bottle of whiskey to get the buyers going either!!
Not much use for ebv,s out there then . Still some good stockmen left .
DT does sell camelids and have reached up to £16,000, he wants to know if he qualifies !!!!!! or does he need to fork out more the whisky !!!!
I think he's gone beyond 16,000!!!
