Three Counties:Supreme pig Beryl continues mother’s show success

Taking the supreme pig championship was the Large White gilt Panorama Beryl 25 forward from Bleddyn and Chris Beck, Panorama Pigs, Neath, South Wales. This one was unbeaten in the breed classes at the Devon and Bath and West Show last month and next heads to the Great Yorkshire and Royal Welsh Show.

It has also qualified for the Pig of the Year Competition. Beryl is out of last year’s Royal Welsh supreme champion, Prestleigh Beryl 17 and is continuing the showing success of her mother.

 

In reserve was Alice Newth, Somerset with her boar Prestcombe Golden Arrow 6.
