Plasucha Texel gimmer tops at 2000gns at Welshpool
In 2011 the Plasucha Flock enjoyed a successful year winning the club’s medium size flock competition. It was a yearling by the Springwell Jaguar son Penparc Nobleman that led the Welshpool fixture.
Out of a ewe by Claybury Iain, the yearling was in-lamb to the Glenside Ring a Ding son Kingledores Scaramouche. Buyer was S Smith, Penybryn, Welshpool.
Another yearling from the Plasucha flock realised 820gns to Shirley Jones, Oswestry.
By Heys Pinochio and out of a ewe by the Claybury tup, she is maternal sister to the 2500gns Raglan Morse. The yearling was in-lamb to the Penparc ram.
A ewe that is full sister to Gyrhos Rambo, which sold at Lanark in 2010 for 5,000gns, made 820gns.
Consigned from the Gyrhos flock of local breeder James Ruggeri she is by Brague Nixon and out of a ewe by Millar’s Koala. She is in-lamb to the Kelso Ozone son Baltier Reward that was bought at Lanark last year and which won the shearling tup class at this summer’s Royal Welsh Show. Buyers were T Davies and Co, Beulah.
