Romany 1 Dawn A51 (Terminal Sire Index +25) from J R B Wilson and Sons, Kelso was the ringside favourite on a day that saw this November 2010-bred daughter of Romany 1 Asteroid take the female title and finish reserve overall champion. Out of a Crickley 1 Figurehead dam, she was reserve junior female champion at the National Poll Show and reserve female champion at Borderway Agri-Expo last year. The same buyers also gave 2200gns for the heifer Romany 1 Julia D345 (Terminal Sire Index +26) – a daughter of SMH Calgary and out of a Figurehead dam.

The Wilson’s Romany 1 Mink D1 H48 (Terminal Sire Index +28), a heifer by SMH Castro and out of a Glenlees Storm cow, made 2400gns to Thomas Harrison, Mickley, Northumberland.
