The top priced females were the champion pen of the day from M Reader, Radnor Hall Farm, Congleton, Cheshire with a pen of homebred shearling ewes bred from a HM Wells ram. They sold for £155/head to ISJ Farming, Ashbourne.
In the ewe lamb section the top was £122/head for Linda Barnard of Hall Farm, Malton. The 1st prize pen were bought by pre sale judge, Mike Kinnes of Kilham, Driffield.
G & A Fort, Brighton House Farm, Keighley topped the ram section with 800gns when selling to P Radford, Grantham. The champion ram from TP Radford sold for 640gns to Hough Farm Partnership, Ashbourne.
