Dyfri heifer sells at 10,000gns

A good crowd at the Llandovery Market sale venue took bidding to 6000gns for the 2009-bred cow Dyfri Esther, a daughter of the Nectar son Dyfri Adam. She had a Cerberus heifer calf at foot and was in-calf to him again. Buyers were Avon Finch Ltd, Market Drayton.
T Jenkins and Son, Llantrisant gave 5200gns for the 2005-bred cow Dyfri Aisa, a Senateur daughter suckling a heifer calf by Milbrook Dakota. She was in-calf to the Ironstone sire.
Averages: Two cows and bull calves £2992; nine cows and heifer calves £3558; one unserved heifer £3150; two in-calf cows £2100 and 21 in-calf heifers £2910. “A” lots – one bull calf £2520 and three heifer calves £2345.
