Blondes top £3,045 at Ballymena

The Blonde Society saleat Ballymena saw trade peak at £3,045 for the pre-sale champion.

 

Budore Garrett, from MrPaul McGarry of Dundrod, Crumlin, is sired by Budore Utah. He was knocked downto Charles Currans, of the Homestead herd in Newry, Co Down.

Joining him was the day’schampion and top-priced female Hillhead Honeycomb, from MR Rogers and Son. The nine-month-old Felltop Archy daughter is out of Hillhead Razmataz Honeycomb and soldfor £1,680.

Then at £2,835 was thereserve champion Blackwater Ainsley son Lurgy Gunn, from Paul Downey,Portglenone. He sold to Mr M Garvey of Newtown Hamilton.

Next best at £2,415 was DrumraymondGilroy, bred by Mr Henry Griffin, from Toomebridge. He joined the herd of Mr GWilliamson from Loughgall.
