Fleming family secure seventh Balmoral Inter-Breed dairy title

Potterswalls Glams Elisha has notched up her second Dairy Inter-Breed Championship titles in a row. The Jersey third calver, secured her owners the Fleming family from Co Down, their seventh Balmoral dairy interbreed title.

Sired by Potterswall Glams Comercia, her dam is Grayridge Renaissance Elisa ET. She calved just three weeks ago.

The Inter-Breed Reserve was the Dairy Shorthorn Campion Marleycote Princess Jill 31st Ex93.  Owned by the McLean family, from North Co Antrim, she won the UK Dairy Expo for the third year in a row back in March and has won the breed championship at Balmoral for the last two years. Bred by Richard Baynes, she is sired by Marleycote Rampage and her dam is Marleycote Princess Jill 25th.

The Honourable Mention was awarded to Conor McAufield’s Holstein Champion; the second calver Clonpaddin MPW Jill. She was bred by Co Wicklow breeder John Hurley. The cow is sired by Maple-Downs –I G Dagwood and her dam is Clonpaddin FZG Jill 2.
