Perth Bull Sales 2012: Simmental championships
Judge Bridget Borlase has awarded the title of senior champion to Islavale Brilliant 10 (Lot 54) from Mr W S Stronach. This June 2010 born bull (pictured above) is by Curaheen Vobster and out of Islavale Tibby; he has a SRI of +56 and a TSI of +60.
The title of reserve senior champion (pictured above) went to another one from Messrs Stronach. Islavale Barry (lot 10) is by Kilbride Farm Newry and out of Islavale Vanessa. He has a SRI of +54 and a TSI of +72.
And now we’re on to the intermediate championships, and the title has gone to Longbeach Bosco 10 (lot 68) from Mr L A Richardson. This one (pictured above) is by Kilbride Farm Viduka and out of Longbeach Princess; he has a SRI of +65 and a TSI of +69.
The title of reserve has gone to Mr W E Nelson’s Drumacritten Bruno 10 (lot 79). Sired by Kilbride Farm Newry and out of Drumacritten Sally, this one (pictured above) has a SRI of +59 and a TSI of +60.
Next up it’s the junior classes and judge Bridget Borlase has awarded the championship to Grangewood Baron 10 (lot 125) from Mr & Mrs AS & YA Leedham. Sired by Omorga Volvo and out of Highcroft Tollie, this one (pictured above) boasts some of the highest figures in the catalogue. He has a SRI of +102 and a TSI of +100.
The title of reserve was awarded to Glenturk Bonanza 10 (lot 167) from B G & L Allan. This one (pictured above) is by Celtic Rock and out of Glenturk Paradise; he has a SRI of +63 and a TSI of +61.
