Essex Young Farmers are getting on their bikes in a bid to raise cash for good causes - literally.
A team of 20 will be cycling the 280 miles from the East Anglian county to Torquay for the National Federation of Young Farmers Clubs convention at the end of April.

I'm going to be in Torquay for the convention again this year - and it's always a hectic few days. As well as the serious stuff, there's a lot of partying to say the least!
I always remember what ex-NFU boss and lifelong supporter of Young Farmers Henry Plumb says about this event. He always says: "I never know if spending a weekend at it makes me feel 10 years younger or ages me by a decade!"
You can sponsor them at this website.
The Essex lot are no strangers to fundraising - although their last effort involved them taking off their clothes. They produced a 2007 calendar featuring some of them in various states of undress.
You can see some other great calendars featuring rural people (taking your clothes off seems to be a common theme) at The Black Sheep blog

My sister’s friend did this and said that they really did enjoy it, how much money was raised in the end?
