We like pets here at Field Day.
I'm fond of dogs, but it's cat's I really love. So I've been beside myself with excitement this weekend - having got two new kittens.
Two things have already happened in the few days since they arrived from a farm in Sussex.
Firstly, I'm boring everyone senseless rattling on about them. Secondly, that the house - piece-by-piece - is being pulled apart.
They like scratching the sofa, but curtains seem to be their speciality. Another favourite game is jumping as far up my legs as they call - naturally, with their claws out. I guess we can always get new curtains or another sofa, but the other game could have more permanent (not to mention painful) consequences.
In case you're wondering, Nutmeg is the one on the left in the photo above. More news on their progress will follow. Unless I'm boring you - in which case simply tell me to shut up!

I have five cats and four of them I have raised from kittens. Your kittens are just lovely. I love the play fighting photo too.
