Country roads...

It's like buses.

I haven't talked about music for ages, but mention The Wurzels and I suddenly discover all sorts of talk in the blogosphere about rural music.

Ahead of Glastonbury, Guardian Unlimited are getting people to recommend songs with a rural title.

There are some great ones there - such as Country House by Blur and I'm Walking to a Farm by Ivor Cutler (who the hell is Ivor Cutler?)

Talking of Blur, Field Day readers who like their music may be interested to know that the band's Alex James is now running a farm.

You can also catch him presenting Radio 4's On Your Farm.
