
I once tried to take up golf. It bored me senseless. I never could quite see the point of it.
I love fishing, though. So I found myself agreeing wholeheatedly with Brian Clarke's article in The Times this morning.
He sums up eloquently the magic of this sport. His angling column appears monthly in the paper, so fishing fans might want to look out for it...

More things that are overrated:
No.11: England (the country)...discuss.
No.12: Mango....had one this week. Awkward to serve, prepare and eat. then doesn't taste of anything!
No.13:Walking in the rain
No 14: R&B
No 15: Lager

City life.
Professional footballers.
Hair.
Wine Bars.
Old Age.
More overrated things:
Modern children's tv - too much shouting.
Men's magazines - eg. Heat
Growing up.
Eastenders.
Big Brother (easy target).
