Dogs, DEFRA boss and biotechnology - all landslides

The public has spoken.

We made the cats vs dogs debate the subject of our 'Question of the Week' on Farmers Weekly and the result was unequivocal.

More than 1000 people voted and 86% said they preferred dogs!

The Question of the Week provides some interesting facts - 74% say this summer has been the worst weather they've ever known, 68% reckon it does matter that DEFRA boss Hilary Benn is a vegetarian and 80% believe UK farming should embrace biotechnology.

And because I'm firmly and defiantly in the 14% camp when it comes to cats and dogs, I'm going to publish another cute cat picture here, sent to me by Field Day reader Johh Gilbey. According to John, the kitten holds the post of "trainee mouser".

Dampand Dusty

I'm outraged. At least you don't have to follow your cat round the park with a plastic bag!

Very true, Damp and Dusty. And cats don't bite (or they do, but it doesn't hurt as much as when a dog does!)
