He's been here. On Field Day. Naylor.
He's popped up leaving a comment on the This Little Piggie post.
And he's presented me with a bit of a conundrum. We're locked in mortal combat - we're sworn blogging enemies - but when I read his Daily Mail comment I thought: That man's got a point.
I'm not as anti-Mail as my blogging nemesis is, but I am exhausted frankly by the paper's seemingly never-ending outrage.
Five minutes of reading it and I'm convinced my neighbours are illegal immigrants, my house is about to half in value, my pension is worthless and every child between the age of 10 and 16 is high on crack-cocaine.
So in the interests of newspaper impartiality - and for anyone who's interested in foraging for food - here's a nice slideshow of some mushroom photos on The Guardian's website.

Aargh! I am currently gathering fungus photos to put together a slide show of my own - pipped to the post. Too bad. I will still put mine up in the next few days.
I grew some interesting fungus in my bathroom once.
Does that count?
