The big (forage harvester) day

Obviously getting married on a tractor is a bit passe these days.

Recent newlyweds Caroline and Charlie Wellon left church on a forage harvester (machinery buffs will recognise it as a New Holland FR9050).

Caroline organised it as a surprise for her new hubbie. “I doubt you will have seen such a ‘carriage’ at a wedding before,” she told Field Day.

Mmm - I can see the day where competition over the hotel/marquee/honeymoon destination will be replaced by...who had the biggest, newest piece of equipment to travel in.....
