Game for a laugh

Spent a fantastic day yesterday in Alnwick and had a tour of the estate by its award-winning gamekeeper Kevan McCaig.

I learnt a lot about the castle - including that it was where some of Harry Potter and Robin Hood: Price of Thieves was filmed. It's a truly beautiful part of the world.

After my foray into the world of tv presenting, I had a go at shooting some video footage of Kevan, the estate and its wildlife - but noisy stonemasons, passing trains and uncooperative partridge did their best to frustrate me!

No obvious blunders on the social etiquette front (as far as I'm aware). Apparently, the correct way to refer to the Duke of Northumberland is as 'his grace'. Which rather reminded me of the tv sitcom Are You Being Served? (which, as older Field Day readers will remember, featured a 'young Mr Grace').
